I think the French teams have better than we have.

And I would actually say the English teams have a better sense than we have is when the opportunity to go, they go.

So whether that is 10 meters from the try line or 20 meters from their own try line, they go.

When the opportunity is on, they go.

we are still playing a risk-based game where we kick an awful lot.

So we're forced to play an awful lot of rugby in the midsection of the field.

We have to play an awful lot of possession-based rugby in there.

I think Andy Dunne has been brilliant about this.

He's discussed it a few times, that we're playing lots of needless rucks.

When you compare that to what Bordeaux are playing, are moving to Toulouse or doing Montpellier to a certain extent, La Rochelle, they're moving away from Rooks or trying to move away from Rooks and keeping the ball alive.

So that's a very French philosophy and ethos.

We're not there, but we need to go back to what our version of that was, which is quick Rooks, but moving the ball away from contact.

You can work with what you have, right?

So there has to be tactics involved and there has to be thinking about tactics.

What do I mean by that?

Straight off the kick-off, when was the last time they moved the ball to the wider channel?

Just getting it as early as possible into Tommy O'Brien's hand and letting him kick it 70 yards down the field.
