Obviously, there was the yellow peril, the cards they got early on in the game, which gave them, again, it was a significant millstone and handicap to their ambitions.
But they were dominated a little bit physically as well by Montpellier, and I think there will be shades of that in the Stormers game.
They face a very...
physically big, strong, good set piece team with plenty of pace and size and lots of pace as well.
So yeah, this is a really, really tough challenge.
I'm hoping that Connacht can put behind them the Montpellier game.
I think that's really important that they show
more of the form prior to Montpellier and that got them on that run of results and obviously Bundy O'Keefe hasn't travelled so it'll be interesting to see.
I think there's no doubt that Stuart Lancaster will learn more and more about the younger players and from that perspective both for Connacht and by extension in a few cases for Ireland it will be very interesting.
to see how they go in a very challenging environment.
So there'll be lots to learn from the game, I think, for Connacht.
But if you're asking me, do I think they will win?
No, I would say no.
What you might get out of it is if they have the courage to chase something, then they might get four tries and that might be the return.
but I label it a golden era.
Not really.
I still wouldn't describe it as golden.
Sorry.
I'm not as taken on it as you are.
I mean, if you were a defence coach, you'd probably be looking for a new job this morning.
