Could Ireland have done more?

Slightly, but they showed they were gutsy in a lot of what they did.

I think we'll have a better idea of where this Ireland team is by the end of the Six Nations.

And it's not kicking the can down the road.

It's just acknowledging, well, they've got Italy up next, I think, in the Dexcom Stadium.

So how they play in that game and where they go from here.

And France away is a big test.

If you're looking at a stepping stone to pulling themselves up towards England, then winning away in France would be a huge win for this group.

And then obviously having...

uh you know if they can beat italy scotland and wales then you would kind of say yeah it's been a good six nations and maybe the france result would be the key as to whether it was a great six nations a good six nations or an okay six nation i think your point though is pretty important and salient for particularly for uh the women's six nations how do england perform against the other teams and how do ireland perform against the other teams

Well, I think that the one thing that they don't, and you touched on two interesting points there, I think as well, Nate, your point about the Irish backline, they have to improve.

There has to be more to them and they have to produce more collectively and individually.
