I look at the, you know, even Conor O'Tearnick again, I would be a fan.

I think he's got lots of ability.

He's a very good ball playing second row and he's got size.

So,

Looking at him, the fact that Leinster have gone 6-2 on the bench as well is interesting.

You always feel that you're tempting fate in those circumstances, but they've gone with Max Deegan, Will Connors, so you can pretty much understand what they anticipate, if you like, in terms of how physical Friday night's game is going to be.

So you're hoping, you're keeping your fingers crossed that the changes are made from a tactical perspective rather than enforced.

I think that's just the way it is just for the game itself.

Somebody else I should have mentioned actually is Jude Postlethwaite when he gets his opportunity off the bench.

Again, it's an opportunity to make a statement if and when he gets that.

James Hume as well is another who obviously had his injury issues for about a year or so.

He's been playing well and he's been regularly wearing the 13 jersey for Ulster.

So he will look at this as a chance to measure himself against Gary Ringrose and maybe apply a little bit of pressure or put a hand up to say that he's in form and young enough.

And he is young, relatively speaking, to maybe press a claim for something more.

I think it's if you're looking at two different setups.

So you're looking at the Ireland set-up, and I think Jack Crowley played his way past Sam, if you like, and into the 10 jerseys.

So in those circumstances, it was just that there was a player playing better than he was.

And in some respects, that's exactly the same with Harry Byrne.

I think if you look at Harry Byrne's form, so what Sam has encountered is that

two out-halves who are playing better than he is currently.
