what you want to get to is where people are talking about your draft class the moment you draft it, and then maybe one or two guys during the season, but it's your second year guys who should really be accelerating during a season.
And I think a huge storyline for the Jaguars will be how, particularly Ransaw and Hunter, the secondary had some issues late last year.
People see it, all the draft picks see it as a need.
You see cornerback and safety drafted all over the place.
I think they're maybe forgetting, in a lot of cases, that they've got two day one and two picks coming in that they expect to really improve the secondary.
So to me, that's the storyline more than the draft this year.
Yeah, and I think that's one thing that people need to remember.
I guess there are a couple aspects to this question that were interesting.
13-4 is a great season.
You go 12-5, 11-6.
If this team's going to go on a run, which I think they can, meaning you have Trevor Lawrence,
You have your head coach in place.
The idea is to reel off six or seven playoff appearances in a row and make this an era, right?
That's what we all want.
If you do that, it's very rare for all seasons in a run like that to be 12-5 and up or 12 wins and up.
The Colts teams I covered, I think they had seven or eight straight 12-win seasons.
Well, that doesn't...
That didn't happen.
So if you're going to have a run like that, some years, remember the Chiefs a couple years ago when 11-6 won the Super Bowl.
So 11-6, depending on how the season goes, if you have injuries, if you overcome some stuff, that's not unsuccessful, first of all.
