I thought Robbie Henshaw was Ireland's player of the match.
I thought he did a really good job in shutting down the 13 channel.
I thought he, more than anybody else, made some great reads, good defense.
Goodreads defence, Jacob Stockdale did it on one occasion as well when he came up hard.
Nobody played off Stuart McCluskey when he got over the gain line.
It was just clunky is how I would describe it.
Clunky and lacking in cohesion.
Yeah, I think also I'd point out, sorry, as soon as I said that I thought Robbie Henshaw was, I thought Sean Jansen had a brilliant debut.
I thought he gave Ireland, he got Ireland over the game line, he hit hard, he carried hard, he did everything.
When you look at players and their aptitude to step up to test rugby, his was a continuation of a brilliant season with Connacht and I thought he was great.
And I thought he was the one player...
who really stood up like there would have been Robbie Henshaw would have been challenged to kind of produce a performance there were others that were challenged Kieran Foley Jamie Osborne going back to full back all this sort of stuff so there were lots of players that were challenged but I thought Sean Jansen for somebody making his debut in a fitful Irish performance to bring the quality that he brought I thought was excellent I thought Nick Timoney was another one who stepped up
And again, I thought his work, the quality of his work, the quality of Henshaw's work, the quality of Janssen's work was first class.
And I think in other aspects of the team, in other areas of the team, which I'm sure we're going to touch on in terms of set piece and various other things, I thought that wasn't there.
So for those three to produce the quality in which they did for, in the case of Nick Timoney and Robbie Henshaw, to stay on for the whole game and produce that quality from the first minute to the eighth, I thought was...
They deserve massive credit.
And I thought that they certainly put their hands up.
I thought Big Stu played well, but I marked him down because he conceded two penalties, both of which were avoidable.
Yeah I think he was I think Peter O'Mahony said because I got the benefit of obviously of listening to them one the first one was that was overthrown for the Japan try was an early throw so it was thrown too early and then there were a couple of crooked Tom Stewart had a crooked one as well so or one that was scrambled back so yeah.
Obviously, there's a little bit of an issue and then you go to what you know.
