I think it's important to emphasize that Robbie and Gary, they're able to play a different style.
You just have to ask them to play a different style.
I think that's an important differentiation of what they've been asked to do up until kind of recently.
Since the Champions Cup, they've gone back now to Brandegast and trying to be a bit more expansive, but it still is ultimately a structured attack, even if it is trying to be moved to width a little bit more.
So I think it would be remiss to say that the two guys couldn't actually deliver on that, but I suppose the performance of the combination, the 10-12-13, worked reasonably well.
in the opening 20-25 minutes kind of fell off the gas a little bit after that but it was enough to kind of see them home so you know there will be a lot expected of them and you just hope the shackles are removed a little bit you'd love to see them have a little attack from their own half without pushing the needle too far to what's uncomfortable for them
because they won't have done an awful lot on that but you do just think there is if there's a little mindset shift that you can actually go after the Bulls and I mean genuinely go after them there's probably a little bit more appetite to do that maybe not until 10, 12, 13 because you can see Ioane now he's kind of freed up a little bit as well and has kind of found his running a little bit easier in the last two or three games
And it adds, so I think it's important to, what we're talking about here is either the nine passing to the pot of forwards and then they do that passing behind.
So there's two passes there that don't need to happen.
It just should be one.
But that means you have to have that 10 or first receiver, which can be Jamie Osborne or Brandy Guest,
They have to be in movement.
They have to be engaging the defensive line.
