Do you think they're confusing celebrity with creativity?

Because are they saying, you were on my radar and now you're not anymore.

So you can't be a musician anymore because I would have heard about you.

But that's not what a musician is, is it?

And also I think like people...

People do think that art is what they are sold.

So it's what they see on their Netflix screen.

It's what they hear on their radio station.

And anything else is sort of like almost a folly or a sort of an indulgence.

Whereas, you know, for centuries, art had no real relation with income.

Right.

So you must feel that switch between...

vulnerability and empowerment sort of is that sort of a pendulum swinging and how do you um yeah how do you make use of that vulnerability in the work you create I think the easiest place for me to do that is on stage with my music
