Had a couple good swings, you know, the base hit to right, and then, you know, against Cano's, you know, sinker changeup, everything kind of down in the zone to kind of get underneath it and hit it the way he did was great.

I thought it was a great send from Carlos, too, with nobody out.

Ernie was doing his part, and I thought Carlos did a great job sending him.

Left-handed lineup, you know, trying to navigate it as much as he can, I think, and then turn it over to the rest of the pen.

You know, starting a game, it's a little bit weird, and I think having him be here for a couple weeks kind of played into it, too, and saving some other guys for later in the game.

Yeah, a little bit different at the big league level, but yeah, I think it's keeping the same routine he's been in as a reliever, but knowing that he's been out there for the first inning too definitely helps.

Is it a target kind of one trip through the lineup?

I think a day like today when Penn's running a little hot, a little thin.

There's going to be some not ideal matchups on paper that you have to navigate through.

I think a lot of it just depends on his pitch count and what he's done workload-wise.

You don't want to overcook him and overdo it.
