And so the fact that you and I can converse and the guy in Dawson Creek can listen to us on his phone at any time he wants, that's a positive. matched

There's a little bit of misunderstanding west of Yonge Street of what happens in our country and understanding how important things are to Western Canadians. matched

I think that as someone who has lived in both areas, I think understanding what Western Canada stands for and what it believes in, you have to be respectful. matched

But the bottom line is that if it's not building revenue, then at a certain point you have to fish or cut bait. matched

Do I think that the closing of these radio stations is anywhere related to what happened with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment? matched

No, no. matched

You know, the jobs yesterday, the radio stations across the country, because Kitchener lost a radio station, Halifax lost a radio station. matched

Those things, and by the way, you know, I'm a radioaholic and I've listened to it for my whole life, probably from the time I was four years old. matched

We lost in our country two of the great AM radio stations matched

in the last 80 years in CKWX and CFAC in Calgary. matched

We are talking iconic brand call letters in those two. matched

And that has nothing to do with the two sports stations. matched

But the thing is, the revenue from this media decision yesterday was coins in the sofa. matched

That's all it was. matched
