Getting rid of cap space, getting rid of dollars is a big part of a trade.
And so to get that kind of relief from Darnell's contract is almost as good a bonus as getting a player in return.
Well, I think he might be getting five nines to the player, though.

Well, that was vintage Mike Babcock, in my opinion.
It's the same kind of delivery that he has had his whole career in the NHL.
I think that we would have liked to have heard a bit more contrition.
But at the same time, this is the same Babcock and it's going to be a learning curve for everybody, including Mike and reading some stuff yesterday and today and even reading the commissioner's comments.
that Mike will be watched very closely.
It's going to be a very interesting time that Mike is going to have to understand that he's under the microscope as long as he's a coach in the NHL.
