I make it's a huge call.
It's a WTA one thousand.
It's sandwiched in between Washington and Cincy and there's all sorts of things that can go on.
It's often a little easier to predict a slam than it is for if we think about the women's tennis in the last five years, you know, we turn up at the French Open and
You're not going to go too far wrong if you pick Eagle, albeit the last two years, obviously it didn't work out that way.
But she still goes deep.
She doesn't have any crazy shocks.
Yes, her form has slipped off a bit.
Same with uh Arena on a hardcourt slam.
You know, you she's never gonna let you she might let you let herself down in a way, but she's not
not going to be a crazy disappointment in terms of tipping her to to win it because it's like if she if she she'd either win it or come close to winning it if that makes sense either with a a crushing semi-final or or final loss.
Um yeah so these I find these tournaments a lot harder to gauge but the point I wanted to make was actually that
A few of us and me included were like, I think Coco's the favorite for this title, partly because of where I just had some good really good signs from.
I mean, having that kind of grass court season for me was and her loss to Mukova
I saw the way she was at the end.
It's like, you know what, it's okay.
You know, losing the way she did look, Mukova, would have been painful for most players.
But when you've won a couple of slams, you just had the best grass court season of your career or best wimbler in your career, and and you think, you know what, I'm still young enough, I'll get a few more of these.
And Mukova was just, you know, too good in the in the tie break as it turned out.
