But I'm really approaching it because once you can make a bunch of arbitrary palettes all around your screen that have different things in them, that's basically drag thing.

The only difference is the drag thing can let you put tons of stuff there and do all sorts of interesting things.

And also, by the way, this is related to the computer that I just bought.

My tradition seems to have been my tradition, my one-time tradition, which is buy a really expensive computer and then make a bunch of Mac apps that eventually pay for that computer over the course of the next several years, which is what I did with my Mac Pro.

That's my plan here is like make a new app and try to pay for my computer over the next three to five years in terms of... Because that's the kind of income things make.

And it's going to be an app that lets you put a bunch of little palettes all around your screen.

If you use Switch Glass, this will do exactly the same thing as Switch Glass, but like...

again better with more modern apis and stuff with better code and stuff um but also it'll let you have a bunch of folders in the corner and you can have another little palette over there with other stuff in it and you can have like whatever like it's just you know it's it's not a great idea again it's not drag thing it's still fairly limited but it is no longer like switch class which is like this is an app switcher and that's it this is instead arbitrarily arbitrary little palety turds all around all your screen

yeah i mean that's basically what it is like i don't even know if anybody wants this but i i once i had the ability to do this i'm like well i could those folders over there that's not the only thing i might want on the screen especially if they're auto hidden and they just pop up when they come when i go to the edge of the screen like i can think of other potential uses for this um
