Here's what Tommy John stats are.

Wherever you have your surgery, wherever you were at, you got a high likelihood of going back to that, but not necessarily advancing from that.

We forget about the hundreds and thousands of pitchers who never advanced past their Tommy John, but yeah, their arms good and their elbows good.
