It's quite a remarkable connection that's built up with the town.

Because quite aside from winning the trophies domestically, that European adventure must have meant a lot to the team last year.

I think back to beating Bredeblik at home, those type of games during the summer, they were fantastic occasions, weren't they?

How did you find the standard?

Do you feel that loan can compete at that level and maybe even go a bit further than last season?

Before I ask John about him coming in and having a pre-season and so on, you must have been really happy with the way you finished the season out because other teams could have seen their form fall off a cliff.

Mander leaves mid-season, right at the end of that European campaign, he could have tailed off in a tight league campaign, he might not have won the Cup, but you finished out the season wonderfully well.

John, I was talking to Stephen Gray when he took over as CEO and he was saying there's a massive commitment not just from the owners but from the front office in that lone town that they want to put a budget behind this women's team and he was saying that they're going to put as much money in as the men's team.

That must be really important for you, your assurance about the contract and I suppose an assurance that the budget is going to be there for you to have a very good playing staff here too.

When you came in, you were very keen to stress it was, let's get to the end of the season, let's see what happens, I'm here to do a job for the end of this.

Do you feel more settled in the role now, having got to the end of the season?

Given that time, given you've had a proper pre-season now with the team as well, does this help for you to implement your own plan with the team as well, as opposed to coming into mid-stream and trying to get them over the line in competitions?

It's a big challenge going three in a row.

You're getting into uncharted territory if this team were to do that as well.

It's a challenge to keep everyone hungry and to keep everyone driven to keep those standards that high.

For you, you were involved in USA Underage squads, residency will take a few years but if that was to happen would that become an interest to play for Ireland?

Has it been a very welcoming place to come into?

Because Madison Gibson has been here for quite a while.
