when something is going on that you don't agree with you have to kind of stand up for what you believe in and what you believe is correct and you can look back on yourself then and go okay well I've actually stood up here I've made these issues apparent we've spoken about them but this is all to get better and you know that's the thing within a squad like Munster and playing there there was never a question of you not being called out when you weren't doing your job or if you weren't training enough
or you weren't training hard enough.
So that has to come into the off-pitch stuff.
And you have to be able to, if you're not doing your job correctly, and you're not doing things that are for the betterment, that turnout that aren't better for the organization, you have to have the ability to take that on the chin and be better.
And if you can't, then that issue is with you.

you know that that's your problem you should be leaving your ego at the door here and and just making sure that everyone is pushing in the right direction i think that's something you know we're saying that he didn't he didn't do that that lightly you know um sometimes people get a lot of hassle for rugby books being very bland and you don't go into very detail and all that kind of stuff and then when someone does it he gets criticized you know well that's his opinion you
He's one of the best players to ever play for the game.
He's allowed to have an opinion.
And if he doesn't agree with something, he should be heard because he's lived it for however many years.
I think that's really important.
And again, every walk of life, I'm sure and off the ball, if someone's not putting their weight, the ability to pull them out, that's really important because that creates a good culture.
The culture, you know, from an off-field thing, like that's what needs to be addressed, I think, really.
And then I played in Young Munster when I was in Leicester and they still talk about that final with Marys.
Unbelievable.
And the trains going up and they had to put extra trains on for the amount of people and the amount of Young Munster supporters that were there.
They outnumbered the St Marys by three, four to one and there's some incredible stories of people going up with their dogs and all sorts.
It's just incredible and it is folklore and I didn't play a lot of club rugby when I came back
I played a huge amount in Lansdowne before I went to Leicester.
But, like, my brother was in Carlow when they got promoted to the AIL Division 1.
