So this story for me was she did it for herself.

She was out there skating the Olympic program of a lifetime.

And I had chills.

I couldn't have been happier for her.

Yeah, that's what I love.

There's no filter.

She is doing it the way she wants to do it.

And watching her skate last night, you know, the joy and the smile.

It was one of the best Olympic gold medal skates I've ever seen.

She's 100% enjoying herself.

And that's really hard.

When you get to an Olympic Games, you have four minutes to prove yourself.

And it could change the trajectory of your life.

So there's a lot of pressure there.

So to be able to put that aside and remember why you love what you do and then show it to an audience, that is a special talent.

And that's what she delivers so well.

And she is just so authentically herself

So I feel like that's why she had an advantage over everyone else there to be able to go out there and skate like there wasn't pressure and have that freedom.

Because that's what that's what an Olympic skate is.

Well, I mean, I think that's our whole goal when we're commentating, especially at an Olympic Games is to attract new viewers, people that may have never watched figure skating before and introduce them to these incredible personalities that then they can, you know, become fans of and follow their careers because it doesn't end after the Olympics are over.
