We're not rich.
So some people are not going to keep their jobs.
because they are away.
So they went back to pick up their lives.
I think that there are also people who believe that we have brought this national awareness that no one was paying attention to what was happening in Texas.
And perhaps now California will be able to redistrict Republicans out and other democratic states will be able to do that.
And I think some people think that people are now so angry at the bullshit that the Republicans are pulling
and the attempts to take us back to pre Jim Crow, back to reconstruction and to unwind our voting rights and our civil rights, that people will be motivated to vote.
So I think those are all
thoughts that I heard coming out.
And I just think it depends on your perspective, because my constituents in no uncertain terms, unequivocally said, you better corn break.
And then once we were out, they were like, and you better not come back.
So, and they was like, we will primary you.
So I just think it depends because I've had Anglo colleagues who were like, I haven't heard one negative thing about coming back.
So I just think it depends on perspective, Don.
And, you know, like there's a difference between, say, Black media and mainstream media.
There are certain things that you can't say on mainstream media that is truthful, that you can only say on Black media.
So I think it depends on the audience.
And I firmly believe that everybody in this fight believes they're fighting, except for
I know myself.
