We've been talking about it for a few podcasts.

So I've done some digging guys.

And I thought I'd have a look at the qualifying averages.

from the first half of this year and the second half of last year or the last ten races to see what's going on.

So George is on average just less than a tenth away from uh from Kimmy.

Now that's uh you know, considerable.

It's there's been a few times where he's actually got away with it in qualifying as well, when you think of Austria and the last lap, you think of Melbourne and the fact that Kimmy had just crashed and was late

to start qualifying.

So it could have even been a little bit more.

So then I was thinking, is this down to the regs or is it down to Kimmy stepping up?

Because he's so so young and second year you'd make a step.

So I looked at last year, and it's really interesting.

There are two drivers this year that have made a massive step compared to their teammates on the second half of last year.

That's Kimmy and it's Lewis.

So Kimmy

has made nearly two tenths gain compared to George.

So he was a little bit slower last year and he's turned it round to be a little bit quicker.

He was a tenth down, now he's eight hundredths up.

Lewis was about three tenths down last year, and now he's level, pretty much on pace with Charles overall.

So huge steps.
