Yeah, I mean, whether it's arrogance or not, I'm not sure, but it's real that the Timberwolves believe that they have a culture in place and they have leaders in place that will help a player like LaMelo, who has not always been strong with decision making and
and doesn't give the best effort on defense that they will bring more out of him.
I don't know if that's going to happen, but it definitely is what the Timberwolves believe.
They think that he will be coming now to a franchise where everyone knows that Anthony Edwards is the one who leads this thing.

LaMelo will be here to play with him, but the spotlight won't be quite as hot on him because Ant will absorb a lot of that.
jayden mcdaniels is going into his seventh year too and that he is he's already set a standard for what is expected rudy gobert for whatever faults he has offensively he is a stabilizer and a just consistent day in and day out defensive minded guy who is going to tell lamello what is required of him and so there is a lot of pressure on the wolves to be able to
kind of tap into something in LaMelo that he has not shown yet.
And I guess we will find out if that is there and that is available or if he just doesn't have it at all.
But I will say, Ryan, it's been striking.
I mean, talking to people at the highest levels of this organization and
like they could not be more excited about the player that they think that they are getting, what they believe that LaMelo Ball is going to do for this group and how much pressure he's going to take off of Ant and how much he's going to help Jaden take another step offensively and all of these things.
And to hear them talk about LaMelo, it is entirely different than to hear kind of a lot of
what national folks think of him and even, you know, what people up close who have played with him have thought of him.
Yeah, I mean, I think that a lot of what was going forward, and Tim Connolly said it on Tuesday night, he said, everything we do, Ant is going to be part and parcel of going forward.
