Like they have so many of those guys in the mix that I feel like maybe they're finally tapping into the right balance of the size and the skill and the collective playmaking necessary to sustain something that's just like a little more stable than one-on-one pick and roll less offense.
They do feel like the definitive favorite and the safest of all these options.
The Sixers just aren't healthy enough.
The Magic, even though I think their defense has been much improved, they still have to work overtime to beat the Wizards.
They have that in them on occasion.
The Heat feel really stable, and I don't know that I was expecting that given the way that their season has taken place.
He's definitely been the favorite or at least among the favorites.
Why is it not Isaiah Stewart?
One of the best defensive players in the league, like full stop, uh, the kind of center who you can plug and play with a lot of different lineups because of his like a skill set that's more multifaceted that I think he gets credit for including with Durin.
But I mean, I think if you're in contention for all defense and you're coming off the bench, uh,
like you at least deserve a place in the sixth man conversation.
I think we hit a lot of it.
I mean, this whole East situation is really interesting.
I'm not sure any of it is all that good, but I'm glad that we have it.
I'm glad that the East race feels open and alive, even if I don't know that it ultimately means much of anything.
