Um, I would also recommend, um, driving to your spot, whether you're leaving from camp or anything, don't put the heater on full blast when you're going from point A to point B on going to a trailhead or whatever.
Um, that makes your feet sweat.
And I've learned that the hard way as well.
That catches up to you pretty quick.

And don't be afraid to pack an extra set of base layers with you too.
If you absolutely think you're not going to make it through the entire day without sweating, have a dry set of wick base layers to go.
