It's just so unique that it's going to be the series opener, this big buildup, the Dodgers, whenever they come.
to town.
It it is an an event, no matter where they go, just because of the the number of stars they've got.
Uh but I expect it to be a very, very warm ovation.
I I would mention this and I I shared this uh on the fan pre-game earlier this week.
It it does really connect with the fan base when you see a player, in the case of Scooby, a superstar.
really uh embrace the other teams in town and the culture and ethos of that town.
I would always give that advice to any athlete anywhere
Try to find a way, put on the jersey of the other of the hockey team in town or the basketball team in town or the football team in town.
Go to the games, be on the sideline, be be visible.
So the fans get you and they understand what you're all about in a context beyond your own performance.
That to me is a very important thing that Scoobyl did.
And tonight, I believe, will be part of the reason why you do it.
Which is that long after you're gone from that particular team, and in this case a short time after you're gone, they're gonna remember that you tried to understand the city and the people and spoke well of your time there.
And that to me transcends this time in athletics where very rarely do you have one player play for one team from debut to the final game.
It's very, very unique.
And so I think that having that opportunity.
To to connect with fans in a different dimension.
Tonight is one of those moments when you feel the appreciation come back to you because you invested the time in understanding the fans.
That's always my very free, unsolicited advice, Blake, that I would give to professional athletes everywhere.
