Entering a technological revolution with immense stakes for our future, for the next generation's future, and for the world.

And we simply cannot trust that President Donald Trump has our best interests at heart when the first family is so heavily invested in this technology.

Of course, another major dynamic here is so much of the stock.

Stock market's growth and valuation over the last year and a half has been concentrated in this industry.

And so the president is basically telling the country we're going to sit on our hands and hope for the best when the threat, for example, of some kind of biological weapon being developed with this technology grows by the month.

We urgently need inspectors.

In these frontier AI labs.

We urgently need not just the CEOs, but other senior executives and engineers from these labs testifying under oath before the Congress so that we can make sound policy.

I'll have to review the House legislation, but I think that there's an urgent need for those inspectors to be in place, and there's an urgent need for that testimony before both chambers of Congress.

There's ignorance and apathy.

I mean, uh, I regret to report from the United States Senate that the level of information about this technology is low.

And uh Republican members of the House and the Senate take their talking points and marching orders from the White House.

That's one of the things that makes these elections so important.

The stakes are so high.

When we ask ourselves, what can we do?

Do about this?

What can we do about the fact that we have a president who is conflicted?

We have a White House and a Congress asleep at the wheel.

While we barrel into a technological revolution with immense implications for our future and humanity's future, we have to win these midterm elections.

We have to take back control of our own future.
