What else could be a priority within the whole landscape of MLSC beyond crossing the line?
And I understand it's a negotiation.
You've got to work out details.
But at the same time, if it is Sundin and Chayka, if that turns out to be the two-headed monster running the Leafs, and they kind of know it by now, you would presume they're already working.
Like, they're reviewing what's going on.
I don't think they would have the ability to call Austin Matthews yet or William Nylander, Craig Berube.
Can you grant that?
I don't see why not.
Like, if you're Keith Pelley and you've determined these are probably your guys, do you think Sundin has met with Craig Berube?
Do you think he has talked to Craig Berube?

How do these two things jive?
Have to keep Matthews and Nylander, have to keep them healthy, have to win, or keep them happy, have to win, but also you've got to keep Berube.
You understand what I'm saying?
Like, oh, if your argument is, well, those guys, they need to prove that they're willing to go through a wall for the guy.
If they've proven that they're not or they can't or their style isn't conducive to what he is trying to do for them, you can't have your cake and eat it, too.
You can't claim Matthews and Nylander need to pop.
