It's not a US phenomenon, it's a worldwide phenomenon.
The consistency between people of different cultures and ages, even eras, that this is something real.
What it is, whether it's one phenomenon, whether it's more than one phenomenon,
where it comes from, those are much more complex questions.
But I'm absolutely convinced that this phenomenon exists and it has been kept a secret, so far as they've been able to, they've kept the lid on it for at least 80 years.

So that report actually was an item on a BBC television programme called Tomorrow's World, which was hosted by a man called Raymond Baxter.
And it was a scientific programme which the BBC ran and went into many episodes.
And this one item was a flying saucer following a passenger plane.
And
It's odd because in those days, this wasn't taken very seriously at all.
And to see such an item on a major BBC scientific programme was unusual, but it was done actually quite professionally, the piece.
And I was mystified.
Something absolutely grabbed me about that item.
