It will still have beneficial effects.
And so whether it be in direct sunlight or under shade, eat outside.
It's going to help you long term.
And I would even say that you're probably going to feel the difference as well, right?
People get a lot of crashes after they eat lunch.
May that be from the food they eat?
Probably.
But also from the light that they're eating under, right?
They're eating under these blue lights, these lights that are rich in blue.
And, you know, Glenn Jeffrey actually showed, this was in bees, so not in humans, because he saw it as unethical to look at this in humans, but he actually showed that if you
irradiate bees if you shine blue light at bees their glucose actually increases after glucose consumption and then he showed if you shine red light at bees their glucose decreases that's how he actually went to go on to do the study where they shine red light on the backs of people and so you know theoretically
If you're eating under artificial light, you may actually have worsened blood glucose spikes than if you were to just eat in the dark.
So yes, eat outside.
It could be a great way to improve your metabolic health.
If you want to take that even a step further, eat outside.
And then after you eat, go for a little walk outside.
Go for a postprandial stroll, right?
After you eat, walking will allow your muscles, your muscles in your calf, especially to contract.
And your calf muscle actually takes in a lot of glucose.
So that will also help dampen that glucose spike, improve metabolic function.
