So a tan is healthy.
A lot of dermatologists will say it's not, but if we look at the new dermatology research, if we look at Dr. Richard Weller, the research that he's doing,
Sunlight is beneficial.
Sunbathing is beneficial.
We need those UV light wavelengths.
We don't want too much of it.
And that's where the nuance is, right?
So don't get too much.
Be intentional about it.
Don't burn.
but get that midday sun exposure again.
Maybe start with three to five minutes and just see how your body reacts to that, right?
If you are darker skin, you may need longer time.
So this is a bio-individual approach here that you need to understand for yourself in terms of, you know,
am I getting too much or am I getting too little, right?
You need to find that balance.
So really the big thing is don't burn, but make sure you're getting those midday sun exposure onto your skin.
Yeah, exactly.
And I just want to remind people of this is that
like we talked about in the beginning of this podcast, more sun exposure leads to longer lives.
