I saw a clip a couple of months ago of Otamendi, who may well start for them in central defence, getting put on the floor for Benfica by some teenager called Oskar Piasewski.
And looking like every...
Every day of his 38 years.
Yeah, essentially.
And he's 38 years old.
Otamendi is 38 years old and he could end up starting in central defence for the defending champions.
So the formula, I think, is pretty clear that they're going to use their nous and they're going to use their platform and their stability to suffer and sweat and take teams to the places they don't want to go.
But it's really hard to gauge what their highest level is because we haven't really seen them play at a high level, arguably since the last Copa America.
Johnny, you go with that?
I think so.
I mean, obviously you look at Jordan as the kind of, you know, the outsiders.
Algeria, like we say, they actually have a good pedigree.
They have a good squad.
Austria are the team that can, you know, that can really hurt them.
We know how they're going to play under Ralph Ragnick.
And that game against Argentina, the Argentina-Austria game in Dallas at noon local time, has real kind of epic potential.
They've got Marco Anautovic in what's almost certainly going to be his last tournament.
They've got all of the guys like Marcel Sabitzer and Conrad Leimer and Kevin Danso.
So if they can adapt...
If Austria can adapt their style of play to the conditions that they're going to face this summer, and they won't be able to play their incredibly high-energy, high-pressing style.
