And I'm sure that the thoughtfulness of that question is just the tip of the iceberg of what a thoughtful and intentional community you all are together and are for each other.

And

I'm going to answer the question, but I just want to say that this matters.

You all connecting in this way matters.

Debbie, you matter.

And it is in this nuanced conversation that the true profound societal impact of neurodivergence can come to fruition.

Because there is a reductivism at times.

And anything that goes to scale in some ways becomes simplified.

I get that.

But the core of neurodivergence is an insight into how complicated the reality is or should be, the reality of learning, working, living,

relating to each other should be when we take seriously the notion that brain differences are essential to the human experience.

And so it's only in intentional nuanced spaces like this that that core ethical, moral, social insight of the nerd divergent revolution can come to full fruition.

So thank you for that.

A couple of things.

This threads back in our tangled ball of twine to the comment about what can scale in the neurodiversity conversation movement.

And one of the things that can scale is our reframing of diagnosis.
