So he swam through the water, up the bank and bit a sleeve with the decoys hanging on top of the bank.

And we looked and we were like, hey, man, how are you getting them back?

We didn't have no e-collar or anything on them.

And he goes, oh, no, I got it.

And that time he did go up a little bit because he understood the situation and the dog's rousal levels and kind of where he was at.

And he put a little, and still, I would say it was maybe 40%, right?

Like he still had a lot more room to go.

But because his tone and his volume was always so low, so consistent, when he did go up a couple of octaves,

dog spit that sleeve out shit and surprisingly came back i only ever got away with that once with uh my very first second bulldog that i trained he didn't have an out right but they were like we'll just yell out out at him and correct him he didn't have an out off of a decoy and i remember i walked up behind him of course he's not expecting it out and i put i mean i was at 110 and he spit it out and we're like oh that was perfect we gave him the sleeve right

Or he, you know, he drops that, I choke him off, I do it again, I yell it.

Nah, he was ready for it and I had nowhere else to go.

That's one of the things we do harp on a lot, pet owners.

Police handle anybody.

If you just kind of keep a consistent tone and you enforce what you're saying, with a leash, with an e-collar, with food, there's just some kind of enforcement there, reinforcement, and you're consistent, I shouldn't need to go to these crazy extremes.

And even at the point that I do need to correct the dog, I can keep my tone the same and increase the correction.

I can pop the leash harder.

I can turn up the level on the e-collar.

I never have to change the sound of my voice.

Now again, there's times there's scenarios where the dog gets off leash and I got nothing else to to fall on Yeah, i'm gonna get loud i'm gonna make it count after I tried it the original way first, right?
