But because of what's going on, cover officers, other people around the dog or the situation, their policy will tell them they got to do a manual lift off.

So they have to walk up and choke that dog off or walk up, get physical control and then tell them out.

It really depends on, it seems like all these departments kind of run a little different.

I think it just depends.

Like I know a lot of them have like in-house lawyers, that kind of thing.

Each circuit's a little bit different.

So it depends on,

what their case law and kind of what area they're in and what their policy is.

But there's a lot of them now.

This seems to be a big push on having a verbal out.

I think every certification requires one.

Now, like you said, you know, some decoys freeze up and they help and that kind of thing in training.

But there's a lot more agencies now that are really starting to push it and be able to apply it.

like on the street and in person.

And then there's certain situations where like we could do it, but this situation, we have to go up and get this dog.

All right.

So it's changing.

And I think as training is getting better, it's moving forward in that direction.
