So, you know, from the Trump perspective...
It's about leverage.
It's just not that complicated.
He doesn't see things in terms of the history of the relationship or NATO or there's no sort of long credit in the bank that goes back for those things.
It's completely transactional and completely leverage-based.
So, yes, you can get small situational wins by sucking up to him, but it doesn't have any long-term... It's not a durable strategy.
The other thing I'll just say on that, Alistair, is to me, the more interesting reporting, which is not our specialty on these questions, would actually be inside on the Europe end and on the Canadian end where they're trying to grapple with how do we manage the United States?
