I mean clearly that is what what the future holds, is you're adding new chapters to the ends of things.
But no, I mean I would have had to if they'd won the World Cup in uh yeah this summer, but um the sort of the the perfect narrative would have been he he he retired after after that final in Doha, but then to
have this extraordinary coda where he's you know he's gone on and he does exactly the Maradona thing of following up his World Cup glory with um a rather less glorious dragging the team to to the final four years later.
Which sort of just cements the parallels between the two.
