Maybe they believe he's one of those running backs like a Saquon Barkley who is going to be good for 8, 9, 10 years.
So if you believe that he's one of those dynamic guys, then yeah, you want to keep him in.
All right, in a few years you'll be good and you've got a good player on the team.
I think I may have actually left out the part that I think is most important and why I like this contract for Devon A. Chan.
They don't have any receivers right now.
They have to have someone who can give you some kind of glimpse if Malik Willis is worth anything.
And so having a dynamic playmaker right there, I know he's not a wide receiver, catches a lot of passes.
