So when Jack is talking about not feeling valued, I'd say the South African way of, you see the online discourse at the moment around South African people not thinking Jack is valued either and maybe doubling down on what's going on.

I think he was blindly backed in South Africa and rightly so.

They turned the whole thing around since 2017, didn't they?

level of appreciation from the fan base.

I don't see their identity being very clear.

I think you look at their attack, their first try against Bordeaux.

I know they played Lions in between, by the way, but like that, Lions were terrible.

And when the opposition isn't challenging you, you can do what you want.

Generally, you can pick whatever game plan you want and a team like that's going to execute it.

But, you know, they got their first try against Bordeaux and it was very well executed, held on to the ball, large amount of phases.

It wasn't very threatening, it was just, it eroded the defence, I would say.

And then when you look at some of the rest of their kind of strike plays, you wonder how many phases they're actually telling them to attack for because it looks like it's all set up for quite a while.

It looks like the instinct has kind of gone from some of it, but...

you know that's professional rugby as well like you have to kind of give a blueprint for fellas to express themselves but if you look at teams like you know look at the Glasgow Connacht game at the weekend and it was just explosive attack you know and decision making and maybe they won't get there maybe Leinster will win out but there's definitely a difference in style from that perspective

Yeah, I just think, just building on Bernard's point, it's been a very strange year for Leinster, I think, in the background in terms of the RFU and the resourcing and massive change that most people probably won't understand in terms of budgeting.
