When it can work, when they get the ball in the front foot and all the rest of it, or when they create that front foot.
But you just cannot run away from contact in a contact game for 80 minutes.
Like, I know we speak about, you know, Japan, South Africa, a couple of World Cups ago, and that kind of template, that you can do it.
But at the end of the day, I felt it in coaching myself.
Like, Lantarf would do it to...
If your handling is an issue and you give away scrums or if you give away the ball cheaply, which they have done on unnecessary turnovers at times, they're going to get back into their set piece.
The Bulls maul, their scrum, it just puts a fear across the team because you know you can't get away with it.
They get to keep the ball in the scrum for as long as they want.
once they're moving forward or whatever else like you know what I mean and you just cannot run away from that or sometimes you do just need someone to bludgeon your attack up the middle it has to be blunt at times but it's about the balance and the variation I think that makes a team great and Munster haven't had the blunt force to be able to deal with these teams and I think that's unfortunately where they're at I know
I've been speaking to people and I know there have been unfortunate injuries in key positions where they didn't plan on playing certain players for so many games.
But that's squad depth and that's squad quality, I would say.
And that's just where they're obviously very different to Leinster.
If Leinster think they're better than the other provinces, they are.
Their squad is better than other provinces.
Munster just wasn't able to cope with...
with some of these aspects of the game but across the season like they're lying out nothing to do with physicality in the lineup by the way you know so some of the things they just weren't good enough at um and i i kind of questioned what's going to change next year a couple of signings in the front five um but what will change their their game to be more successful next year and i don't have the answers to that i think if you had the answers to it you'd be able to go in and be their attack coach because they probably need one of those as well obviously with everything that's gone on so it's been a bit of a funny season for them um
But, and look, there's more ways to win a game.
I know I said to you about the Connacht game.
I don't know if you have time to go on to it in a minute, but like the best teams, Bordeaux, absolutely explosive attacking team.
Look how many times they kicked the ball.
