But yeah, I like that every rink having its own dimensions plays into the home team's advantage.
I'm all for that.
That wasn't such a bumpy road.
That road was okay.
I mean, I still think my takeaway is like Carolina has been so much better in the last two games than Montreal, but they've had to win both games in overtime.
You know, like, this series could easily be 3-0 Canadians, which is, like, the typical thing that we see out of Carolina.
It's, you know, they play consistently, but they aren't able to break away from their opponents or the opponents that at least can keep up with them offensively.
Like, you can look at the Hurricanes right now and still say they're struggling to score goals, which they are because they're getting so many chances, and Jakub Dobic has been amazing.
And then on the flip side, you know, Nick Suzuki gets a breakaway in the first minute overtime last night, and then a few seconds later, Matheson hits the crossbar.
Like, Montreal could have easily won that game.
I don't think the Canadians are out of this series just because they're being outplayed, but that said, too, playing seven-game series in the two previous rounds is going to catch up to them at some point, and it seems like that's kind of happening right now.
I just think with Cale not being 100% and obviously Nate getting hurt in the last game, being down 3-0, the quotes you hear from Jared Bednar, not that quotes mean everything, but you can just sense that the timing has to be right to win the Stanley Cup too.
