It's actually a very exciting art movement.
And there's wonderful visual art and painting as well as literature out of Futurism.
And Marinetti initiated this with the Futurist Manifesto.
And it was quite a new idea at the time, the idea that you'd launch a movement with a radical, rousing manifesto.
And in this, Marinetti says that literature has up till now glorified thoughtful immobility, ecstasy and slumber.
We wish to exalt the aggressive movement, the feverish insomnia.
This should be in an Italian accent, of course.

And that is enabling him to make this creative leap forwards.
