I mean, only one or two on my personal site.
And then I put a lot of them on, you know, the Goodman Project, Cosmo, Thought Catalog, entrepreneur.com, just every other website that has much larger followings than mine.
Oh, totally.
Sure.
So there's this guy, a business mentor of mine, Brian Franklin, who some of the listeners might have heard of.
He's a guy, I think he's based out of Colorado.
He has this beautiful analogy of when you're starting to build your brand, a lot of people think of, he uses this ping pong analogy of most people just serve one ping pong ball and they wait for it to get hit back to them.
It's such faulty logic.
He's like, the only thing that you can do
is just continually serve these ping pong balls over and over and over and over.
And eventually they'll start be hitting back.
And that's exactly what I've done with every guest post that I've ever gotten on other websites that generally have like five to 10 million uniquely visitors per month is I just make, I follow what kind of stuff they put out.
I say, okay, where's the overlap in what I enjoy writing about and what I know that their followers would value.
And I basically just continually write unique posts and keep serving those ping pong balls until eventually one of them catches.
And then usually once you have one foot in the door, they've made an author profile for you.
Then getting the second, third, fourth, fifth is a lot easier after that.
Gotcha.
So I get my assistant to basically find the 20 to 50 websites that have the most overlap with my brand.
And then she digs up all of the contributing editor email addresses.
And if they don't have that, then they either have a submission form or a SurveyMonkey form or something.
