So it's like, which bad feelings do you want to feel?
The ones that might provoke her, might disappoint her.
So I hear all that and I agree.
And I'm genuinely worried about his mom's money situation.
Let's remember that our friend moved her into his studio apartment once before because she got evicted.
She straight up didn't save enough money to pay the rent.
And then when she moved in, she didn't save any money until he was like, hey, I'm getting involved and you are saving money.
So my fear is even if he manages to get her into a new place, how does he prevent this from happening again?
I'm with you.
He can't be his mom's savior over and over forever, especially if it's not even really necessary.
But if she's not able to take care of herself in this way... Is it kind of necessary?
I mean, I'm kind of worried that it might be.
Okay, yeah, that's kind of a relief.
There's a middle ground here.
I'm just worried about this woman.
I feel like she's expecting her son to save her because she won't take basic care of herself.
And because he continues to save her, she just has no motivation to improve at all.
True.
And then there might be a transitional period where he supports her from afar until she can figure out how to do this on her own.
