Back then, we were conceding too many goals, really, I think.

But so far this season, we've got a lot of clean sheets, defending really well as a team.

And if you're going to win titles, I think that you need to do that throughout the season.

So I think that's a big bonus for us.

So we need to continue that on.

Are you doing more work defensively in training than you did, say, two years ago under Jurgen Klopp?

Not massively different in terms of training, but I just feel we're defending really well as a team.

I know everybody who look at Virg and the keeper and people like that who have made a big difference, but I feel throughout the whole team we defend really well, throughout the whole pitch, and I think that's important.

So we just need to continue that on.

Yeah, it's difficult.

Obviously, last week, of course, I was disappointed that I wasn't involved against Man U, which was one of the biggest games of the season.

But for me, it's about how you react.

I wanted to come here and I was chomping at the bit to play, really.

prove a point that I want to be in this team and help win games and I think everybody's got attitude the great dressing room everybody's real together and I think you need to be because it's a huge squad we need everybody especially over this period and just because I'm captain I'm no different really so I've just got to accept it move on get on with it and do me talking on the pitch

Well, like I say, I think it's the whole team, right from the front to the back four.

The midfield obviously do a lot of work as well in front of the back four, but there's a lot of talking from Virg and Dejan tonight to help us protect.

Yeah, of course, there's a lot of work, but I feel as though we've got great legs in the midfield, anyone that comes in, and that's really important for us.

But all over the pitch, it's important for us to defend, and I thought we'd done that well again tonight.

Well, yeah, he's unreal, to be fair.
