church kid um and just being a Christ follower.
Yeah, I think truly in especially today's society, we have dehumanized people when they think about being a church kid, um, or just a Christian in general.
When you're so in heavily involved in the church, whether that's you're serving, you're volunteering, uh, you're consistently actively going.
People have dehumanized that.
Yeah.
Um, and so the closer you get to Christ, the more honest and human you have to become.
And so I think that's the biggest misconception is that just because I go to church every week that I'm this perfect holy person and I'm far from that.
I feel like the closer I get to God, the more he reveals my struggle.
Wait a minute.
Um so yeah, I think that's a huge misconception, especially the people thinking that church kids just have it figured out and that grace is extended to them through everything.
That's not always the case.
Yeah.
God has promised and given us grace and suffering and so I've experienced both.
Um, and so a lot of times as church kids people just see, oh, you've had it everything handed to you.
You have favor, you have grace, you have all these things.
God just is is more favorable t favorable towards you and it just is not gonna be the same for me.
And that's not the case.
I didn't choose this life.
At four years old I was not choosing.
Come on now.
