And at at the time I was blaming, right, all of these things because after coming home from that it you just seen it.
It just aired on T V.
Everyone from your hometown is rooting for you.
Everyone's so excited.
And um I started to let the perception of what people thought I should have received build the identity that I thought God had and promised me.
And that was the wrong thing to do.
Yeah.
And so God was reminding me from twenty nineteen all the way till now.
That everything is in his will.
Everything is by him.
Um, and I have no expectation when it comes to doing that.
When you think of alignment, um, that's a big piece of that.
Alignment a lot of times we want to control the alignment and we want to have control within the alignment.
And God really had to shape me back in twenty nineteen and say, Hey, if you're gonna do this thing, because I see the desire
If you're gonna do this thing, it has to be done my way.
And so I'm grateful for the pruning, the shaking, the beating, the pressing, all of those things that happened back in 2019 because it allowed me to enter to American Idol with such grace, no expectation other than just living boldly in my faith.
And so we now see the outcome of that.
And I'm grateful to God that He allowed me to endure that.
But um yeah, I remember sitting in my car the day that it hit me and I truly
