Uh I would love that.
The reason they can't do that is the same reason they can't do wrestling games because licenses like you can't depict a player at a club he no longer plays at.
So in in modern ultimate team, if they do a flashback version of a player, say they have Messi as a a young version of Messi, he will just have a red and blue jersey that doesn't have any of the Barcelona crests and he will still be an inter Miami item because they can't put Messi in a Barcelona thing.
Which is absolute sacrilege in my opinion, but yeah.
