And that's kind of what the holdup was there.
Yeah, I mean, there was some definitely notable stuff to me, beginning with the fact that, look, this is basically all the breadcrumbs you need to see where this organization is going and what the succession plan is potentially if they need it for John Mara, right?
Chris Mara stepped up and he stepped into a bigger role.
And we even asked him, like, how did it feel to step in this bigger role?
And he said, natural.
And he had a bit of cockiness to him, which I'm not saying in a negative way.
I actually thought it was nice and refreshing to hear him talk and basically just say what he thought, you know, what he thought.
And, you know, no holds barred kind of deal.
Yeah.
So to be able to be basically like, yeah, no, I felt natural.
You know, I could do this.
You know, this is essentially, I'm not saying he said this, but this is my interpretation.
It's like, I could do this job.
You know, look, this is what I'm capable of.
I went and made this happen.
And he did.
I got to give him a lot of credit.
It was his idea to go to John Harbaugh's house, and I think that made a strong impression.
Now, maybe John Harbaugh was going to come to the Giants anyway.
He seems enthralled and in love with the idea of the New York Football Giants, which is the amazing part, Bobby, if you think about it, that that brand and that legacy from the organization, it still exists through all the losses and all the bad years.
