They need resources.

They need some love.

They need some support.

Be it known that whereas child abuse and neglect are serious issues impacting the safety, health, and futures of children, and prevention is essential to building safe, thriving communities, and whereas Upbring, a statewide leader in child well-being and innovation, headquartered in Austin, has been serving children and families for over 150 years, continually advancing innovative, data-driven, and community-rooted approaches to prevent abuse and neglect, guided by its child well-being trifecta,

ensuring that children, families and communities are strong, supported and connected.

Whereas, Upbring's pioneering child well-being zones model is a highly targeted, place-based approach that surrounds children and their caregivers with holistic, coordinated supports right where they live

And whereas the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services provides tools, media resources, and educational materials that empower individuals and organizations to recognize signs of abuse and engage in prevention strategies.
