Uh I think even if you're somebody like Scotty and you didn't win this year, like there's a some level of concern that
Okay, I need to do something to elevate my game to the next level, let alone if you're speath who's been trending not necessarily in the wrong direction, but if he's stalling, then he's he's still pretty far from contending again at the highest level.
I mean, you'd at least want to see like a
Final pairing in a non signature event this year, and for him to be pretty much irrelevant all season, yeah, I I don't think you can feel very good about it.
Yeah, and you as you mentioned that you
have to play if you play a full schedule of of signature events next year, like Tony Fina had a really rough year.
He finished ninety eighth in the FedEx Cup standings playing a lot of signature events.
And that's playing
really poor golf by his standards.
Uh we we think, right, it's probably gonna be like ninety that you gotta finish in the top, you know, ninety or so next year to to be exempt for all the championship series events in twenty twenty eight when that new model goes into effect.
If you're playing the top fifty, you're probably going to make that.
So yeah, I do think
Every year is important to be in the signature events, but there's an argument to be made that next year is like the most important year to be in the top fifty and playing that full schedule.
Because how does that conflict with
You know, for example, we admire that Scotty Scheffler has stuck with Randy Smith.
For so long and and Andy's mentioning, you know, Jordan Speith not losing his golfing DNA.
Working with somebody he's always worked with.
