I've since recovered because I'm not spending eight hours playing all the time.

I took time off.

But at the time, it was pretty devastating.

So it's like, well, what do I do?

Finished a master's in music literature, which is like a musicology light degree.

It was supposed to be a performance degree.

I pivoted.

Then got a second master's in journalism.

And then again said, what do I do?

The idea was to go into arts journalism.

I worked as public affairs director for the University of Georgia School of Music for three-ish years.
