The other challenge is I think sometimes, you know, AI tools exceed what we expected, right?

And there's so many times where I'm blown away by like, oh my gosh, I actually expected that to fail and it did not.

And it was really, really good.

But then at the same time, I think it also creates a false sense of security for us sometimes.

I won't name any names, but I was talking to somebody recently.

And they made a comment.

They're like, I don't know why I would ever buy digital banking for a credit union or a community bank anymore.

I can literally use AI to generate figmas of what I would want a UI to look like, have it go build code, and I'll just run my own digital banking.

And I was like, that's cute.

You should see the underneath of the tip of the iceberg.

Building a nice, pretty UI and everything, that's actually pretty easy today.

And yes, you can totally use, you know, ideation to Figma to code really fast in AI tools.

But now you got to go integrate to bill pay and to RDC and they update an API and you've got to have all of the infrastructure and security and authentication all behind this.

And it's like, man, you start to unpack that sucker and there's a lot underneath the iceberg.

I use digital banking as a big kind of obvious example, but even just using ourselves internally, we have a lot of conversations where we're like, oh, we could totally just build that thanks to AI now.

And then you get started and you're like, crud, there's actually a lot under the hood.

And this thing is becoming a lot more work than we thought it was going to be.

Sometimes it's because you get that false sense of security.

Sometimes it's because you don't do a good enough discovery of what's underneath.
